Tips and Tricks
keep a metal nail file with my
scrapping tools. I have used it to distress coated card
stock, to sand off little bumps left by punch out letters or
elements, or to fix a problem fingernail.
use a kitchen tool caddy
that spins to store my markers, pencils, scissors,
and other scrapbooking tools in.
Tools- only take the
necessities. I usually search out crops with tool
tables available so I don't have to bring the bulky
stuff like my sizzix, heat gun, rubber stamps etc.
Make sure you are able to use there items and if you
can punch out extra things you might need as a back
up incease it is awhile before you can get back.
Keep a white eraser or
one that will not leave marks on you paper this is
good to get rid of a number of things such as glue
or chalk ink and much more.
When using your Crop A
Dile, if you want to punch several holes in a row
you can move up the metal pieces that are under the
1/8 and 3/16 dials. This lifts the lever so that you
can rest your item on it and make a straight line of
punches.
An unlikely scrapbook
tool that I use ALL THE TIME is a small roller. It
was bought for palydough but it works well to make
sure all items are well secured to my layout.
Choose inexpensive
tools, not cheap tools; remember the difference.
