To really make layouts come alive, use silk/fake flowers. Use a wire cutter to cut the flower off the stem and glue to the page. You can even use the leaves on your layouts.

Try flipping through scrapbook magazines and looking for tips and layouts on the web.

I bought a 3-ring binder, and from now on I carefully tear pages out of my magazines, 3-hole punch them, and put them in my binder. I have it tabbed and labeled for easier reference. Also, the pages that I tear out have the name & date of the magazine at the bottom for future reference.

If a lot of your pics would go SO well on your page and you cant choose witch ones then make a pocket out of card stock , then put your pics in and put some sort of thing on the front that says Memories.
