Tips and Tricks
Use small funnel to get beads
back into their original containers after working with them.
Also works with eyelets or other small embellishments that
can get spread out everywhere!
Whenever buying a package of
lettercharms, write each letter (capitols and small letters)
on a piece of paper. If there are 2 "e"s in the package,
write "e" twice. As a letter is used , cross it off . there
will be less searching for the letter.
jumbo paper clips are cheap and
make great add in to a loayout page.
I used my large seed beads, or
"e" beads and strung them onto the paper clip. Also can be
used as sort of a "photo turn" with a photo mat. Another
trick is just to slip charms onto the paper clips.
Use charms from cheap bracelets
to put on your layouts. Trying looking at the dollar store
for cheap bracelets. Also look in your old jewelry boxes to
find embellishments from earrings and necklaces - shells,
beads, cords, "buttons", charms, etc, silvertone, goldtone,
pewter tone. This will not only add beauty but memories.
To make a cool and color
appropriate embellishment for a layout, pick out seed beads
and wire that matches colors in your layout. string the
beads on your layout and twist into whatever shape you can
think up.
