Tips and Tricks
The cover papers that come with
pattern papers? It give examples of all that is in the
package. Don't throw it away. Use it! Cut them apart very
carefully. You can use these on cards, mini albums,
journaling books, even tags.
When you done with your
layouts make a card from your scraps. You will never
have enough birthday, thank you, sympathy or holiday
cards.
Save time and duplicate
Greeting cards. The supplies are already out and
most likely you have more sticker or letters of the
same topic
To store and protect
your cards this will work for the cards you make
that are 4x6 store them in a regular photo album.
This keeps them organized and easy to get and easy
to show off.
Card Dimensions Guide
A-2 Card Dimensions:
- Final card Size -
5 1/2" x 4 1/4"
- Envelope Size - 4
3/8" x 5 3/4".
A-2 refers to the
name of the "invitation" envelope.
Start with 8 1/2" x 11" paper.
- Along the 11"
side, cut in half at the 5 1/2" inch mark.
- Turn paper, and
score at the 4 1/4" inch mark.
Other Card
Dimensions:
- Final Card Size -
7" x 5 1/8"
- Envelope Size - 7
1/4" x 5 1/4"
Start with 7" x 10
1/4" paper. Along the 10 1/4" side, score at the 5
1/8" mark.
- Final Card Size -
6" x 6 1/4"
- Envelope size - 6
1/2 " x 6 1/2"
Start with 12 x 6
1/4" paper. Along the 12" side, score at the 6"
mark.
